With its silk scarves, pocket squares, and Lavallière scarves, Antagoniste is part off the beaten tracks by offering a poetry and rock and roll collection.
Antagoniste assembles engravings of the eighteenth century into meaningful kaleidoscopes, exquisite corpses sometimes dark and melancholic, sometimes funny or romantic.
The Enlightenment is mixed with new digital technologies to create a clash of eras. The graphics offer games of dualities inherent to the theme of the collection, «Memento Mori», or «Remember that you shall die», famous theme of the vanities in art history.
Antagoniste, is the desire to be a paradox : the indispensable accessory, the one that is recognizable at first glance, in short, a classic of modernity.
The products are digitally printed and hemmed in France near Lyon, the silk ancestral know-how city, and guarantee of quality.
