About the Designer

Kasia Piechocka

KASIA PIECHOCKA is a new luxury jewellery brand run by Polish born Kasia Piechocka, a London based jewellery designer and graduate of the Prestigious Central Saint Martins University of Art and Design.

She set up her own brand in 2011 using her graduate collection to launch it. KASIA PIECHOCKA produces unisex jewellery from precious materials and strives to create imaginative jewellery around unorthodox themes.

As well as working under fellow designers such as Tomasz Donocik and Hannah Martin, Piechocka has designed one off collections for several European jewellery brands and created bespoke pieces for numerous individual clients.

Her first collection ‘ABOUT THE MAN WHO LOVED FISHING’…
… is based on and dedicated to Kasia’s father, who she lost few years ago. She used her vivid memories of home and her father to deliver this powerful and distinctive collection. Based on fishing hooks, fishing weights and other related equipment, Piechocka has placed an extremely masculine and plain subject in an elegant and sophisticated light.
The collection tells a story of a man whose affection towards fishing was so great that he would make false baits, new floats and even fishing rods to feed his hobby. This knowledge and ability to make objects was subsequently passed onto his daughter, who flourished in the world of art and design.
This first collection ‘About the Man Who Loved Fishing’ by KASIA PIECHOCKA is for people with passion and strong sense of who they are. Those who are ready to experiment with and challenge the perception of unisex jewellery will wear her pieces with pleasure.
