The Oscars Outfit Re-Cap

Finally The Oscars has graced our screens! With our favourite actresses looking every bit the beautiful women they are and our leading men looking as dapper as ever, here is a run through of some of the favourite outfits that graced the red carpet this year.

There was a wide range of styles and colours worn at this years award ceremony; a noticeable pastel pallet seen throughout the event and being the choice for many A-listers, gorgeous floor length lace gowns with intricate patterns, coral effect garbs made from a variety fabrics in many different colours, embroidered and sparkly frocks, classic pieces and the list goes on…

Pastel Princesses – This time around the ladies loved the pastel colours; Alicia Vikander was the face of many memes in the Louis Vuitton dress, Cate Blanchett looked lovely in the floral Armani Privé, Emily Blunt seemed radiant in her baby-bump showing Prada gown and Daisy Ridley wore a classy Chanel Haute Couture piece.

Now the list of beautiful gowns worn by Hollywoods most adored ladies is complete, it’s time to re-cap on the male fashion seen at the event. We have chosen four gorgeous gentlemen who we believe killed it on the red carpet this year!

Gorgeous Gentlemen – The main man of the event Leonardo DiCaprio, winner of the Best Actor Oscar (finally!), looked ready for anything in a Giorgio Armani suit; Jared Leto rocked the daring black and red Gucci ensemble, Kevin Hart owned his embellished Docle & Gabanna suit and Eddie Redmayne wore a velvet design by fellow Brit legend Alexander McQueen.

This years Oscars did not disappoint when it came to beautiful and talented A-list stars all being at one memorable event together. From Kate and Leos photography session with the papz, to Leo then winning the Oscar, the ceremony being boycotted for race discrimination issues, adorable celebrity couples that make us go aw, gorgeous after-party goers in their frocks, brilliant performances from the stars, appearances from characters like Ali G, hosted by Chris Rock himself…the event was full of unforgettable moments.
