PURE LONDON: Full Trends Ahead

This year we hit PURE London with high heels and high hopes to see what’s in store for the upcoming seasons. Of course, we were most excited to catch up with some of our SilkFred brands to see how they’ve been getting on. From runway to floor space, our PURE fashionistas did not disappoint.

The Brazilian theme spiced things up and reminded us of some of our favourite prints this season such as Dancing Leopard’s playsuits and Rianna Phillips’ clutches.

Since winter of this year, spring and fall of 2017 are still a way away, we’d like to take a walk through our SilkFred closet to pick a few of our favourite pieces from some of the designers we had the chance to chat with. So let’s dive right in!

Eyelet Waist Jumpsuit by Neon Rose:

Perfect for: Be it morning, noon or night this jumpsuit fits just right, perfect for dates with family or friends.

Pair it with: While one can never have too many accessories, this outfit is loud enough that you don’t need to accessorise too much. Pair it with a simple nude or black heel, small clutch and a big (preferably gold) ring. Or throw a jacket over this florescent number to take your outfit from day to night.

Lily Grid Long Sleeve Black Bodycon Dress by Girl In Mind:

Perfect for: A night out on the town. Especially if your evening’s forecast includes dance parties, you’ll be happy to know these mesh sleeves will keep you from overheating on the dance floor.

Pair it with: The great thing about a LBD is your heels and bag can change the entire look, making the outfits possibilities endless. Whether it’s red, blue, tan or black, you’re sure to have a different outfit each time, even if you’re wearing the same dress.

Pink Floral Cold Shoulder Long Sleeve Swing Dress by Glamorous:

Perfect for: Summer and spring outings. Whether you’re heading to a graduation party or a BBQ, comfy casual never looked so cute.

Pair it with: Flip flops, flats or some chunky heels. Throw in a hat to make this number beach friendly or add some light chain jewelry and accessories to get that floral goddess look.

Jessie Maxi Sheer Kaftan by Naaanaa:

Perfect for: Pool parties, the beach and anywhere you find yourself that’s acceptable to flaunt a bathing suit during the day or night.

Pair it with: Flip flops, flats or go au natural with your bare feet. Heels can be part of this fashion deal if you’re at a location that has solid walkways and surfaces, because balancing on sand is a disaster waiting to happen.

Vintage Denim Jacket by RE Dream:

Perfect for: Daytime activities and casual outings. You can always count on a denim jacket to match with just about anything and provide a little extra edge to your look, especially on casual Fridays.

Pair it with: Almost any type of outfit. As long as you’re not rocking this with a prom dress you’ll be in safe territories. If you want to spice it up, add some chunky heels or a faux fur neck scarf. Otherwise feel free to go super casual with some trainers, flats or flip flops. But now that I think of it, a jean jacket with a tulle skirt doesn’t sound half bad.

Tristripe Bodysuit 800 by ELEYTE:

Perfect for: Anything beach related, festivals or a casual night out. The great thing about this little number is it’s adaptable. Great for spicing up a day or nighttime outfit, but covers up enough where you won’t feel like you’re walking around in a bikini.

Pair it with: Slip this under a mesh dress, a pair of skinny jeans or a skirt to have a clean cut look with an open back to make your ensemble a little bit feisty. Or a towel over the shoulder is fitting too.

Long Sleeve Skater Shirt Dress by Oeuvre:

Perfect for: While we wouldn’t recommend wearing this dress to the actual wedding, this is perfect for daytime family functions such as baby and wedding showers.

Pair it with: For daytime think chunky heels, flats or flip flops and some lightweight gold accessories. Take the outfit from day to night time by pairing it with a stiletto heel. Throw in a bright coloured clutch, my first instinct is turquoise but, this dress can match with a wide range of colours.

Now if we can just get our hands on one of those Brazilian headpieces, our festival fashion wardrobe would be complete. Hopefully this gives you a few ideas for what to wear and we’ll see you next year at PURE London.

Watch this space, we’ll be sharing some of our favourite looks for upcoming seasons soon!
