The Airport Outfit

I personally love airports. Seeing the genuine emotion on peoples faces when they see their loved ones and the excitement of travelling somewhere are two of my favourite feelings. It’s also one of my preferred places to people watch, as there is always an eclectic mix of people at airports (to say the least).

Depending on where you’re heading and what time your flight is, your outfit can change dramatically (just like the effort you put into it). So here are a few airport outfits. to keep you on form for any hour of the day, no matter your destination.

Casual Crew – If your outfit isn’t one of your top priorities, then this is the perfect option. Sticking to a simple colour pallet, a cute tee paired with leggings or jeans is just right. A jumper or light jacket will look great thrown over the ensemble, and to finish your look off, simply put on your favourite kicks (be it boots or trainers).

Chic Traveler – This look blends ease and sophistication. If you enjoy looking chic when you leave the house, but you also want your journey to be a pleasant one, then your staple piece should be a shirt or fitted t-shirt together with tailored trousers, in a funky colour or pattern. A blazer or thin jumper along with a pair of loafers, ballerinas or new trainers will complete an effortlessly stylish outfit.

Sporty Setter – Trackies or leggings with an oversized shirt or jumper will do just the trick if comfort is your main concern when travelling. Lets not go too oversized though, as the result can become unflattering… From trainers to heels, you can make this outfit your own and still have room to stretch, after all it is athleisure.

Biker On-board – If you like to look fierce when you travel (as well as every day life) then black jeans or leather pants, heel boots or converse, paired with a biker jacket is your speciality. This is a good number if you’re travelling somewhere chilly, complete with a coffee in hand. You’ll have it nailed.

Flow Flyer – As the name indicates, you’re one to go with the flow and enjoy lose fitted clothing, so that when you arrive to your destination, you are ready for the beach straight away. This is a great choice for people traveling to warmer climates (we’re not jealous at all…). With sandals or trainers, a pair of shades or a hat, you’re ready for take off.

Passport in hand, all the packing done and on route to check-in, your ensemble should be complete and just how you like it. Now it’s time to relax, people watch and let the excitement that is traveling bubble over!

  • Hi, I love all your outfits! I’m 5 ft 6 and have a short body and long legs (think daddy long legs) and I also don’t have a defined waist. I really love your fitted waist dresses but they wouldn’t suit me. Can you recommend anything that would? X
