Community Agent Learn More Plus Plus

It’s an exciting role because...

You help start-up and independent brands deliver a fantastic service to over 2m fashion-loving customers. You will resolve issues with all aspects of customer experience across the marketplace, meaning you’re very popular with both the brand management and customer experience teams!
We have over 600 brand partners on SilkFred, and they need you to help them sell online and do it better every time.

As a candidate, you are...

  • Someone who builds positive relationships
  • A natural problem solver with a positive mindset
  • Cool and calm in a crisis
  • Diplomatic and diligent, confident on the phone
  • Capable of handling complex issues and establishing clear lines of communication

Your skill set & experience...

  • 2 years’ experience in a senior customer experience role or account management role
  • You are knowledgeable about e-commerce and confident using and adapting to tech such as customer management systems, order management systems, carrier tracking systems and analytics

In this role you will...

  • Be responsible for ensuring our brand partners deliver a great customer service
  • Track, monitor and report on quality of service from our brand partners
  • Troubleshoot issues and work alongside our brand partners to implement solutions
  • Ensure the customer experience team, the brands team, the marketing team and senior team have all the relevant information they need on brand partner service
  • From time to time, you will be expected to attend brand partner meetings

This is a contractor role for roughly 20 hours a week, paid at an hourly rate.

Social Media Manager Learn More Plus Plus

It's an exciting role because...

You’ll be leading the strategies to drive growth across the company’s core channels with a lot of autonomy. We’re known for best-in-class content that showcases clothes from our 600+ brands in their best light, with practical and down to earth styling advice that adds value for the customer, which is why we’re looking for someone to take it to the next level as we go global.

In this role, you will...

  • Help devise and deliver the content strategy for the social media accounts to drive organic follower growth, reach and engagement
  • Work closely with the content team, models, video editor and TikTok channel owner to plan and execute regular photo and video shoots to create the content you know will perform best for customers and prospects
  • Stay in the know and ahead of the competition with Meta’s algorithm and platform changes
  • Get to know the customer on a granular level and tailor your content output to their taste
  • Ascertain from performance data what does and doesn’t land, and react accordingly
  • Collaborate with the wider content team to find new faces for the content on our channels, with a focus on increasing inclusivity
  • Collaborate with the paid team to provide creatives for paid advertising

Your skill set & experience...

  • 2+ years into your career managing content creation for social media
  • Experience leading a channel’s strategy with proven results is essential
  • Experience managing a team of at least 1-2 direct reports is essential
  • An ideas person who brings an infectious energy to the entire creative process, from the initial planning stages through to completion
  • A good understanding of marketing best practices such as storytelling, CTAs and clear messaging
  • A natural self-starter, able to surface opportunity and execute well

UK Senior Brand Manager Learn More Plus Plus

You’ll be a mentor and partner to some of the UK’s fastest growing and most unique fashion brands. Playing a key role in SilkFred’s ecosystem, you’ll create and nurture relationships with our brand partners. Every day you’ll work alongside passionate entrepreneurs who want to grow their businesses, implementing strategies that enable them to grow.

As a candidate, you are...

  • A person with the expertise and vision to drive the growth of independent fashion brands
  • Skilled as an account manager with a natural ability to build strong relationships and motivate
  • A rigorous problem-solver, goal-oriented and unafraid of a challenge
  • UK-based – but as we continue our expansion overseas, we welcome in-depth knowledge of international markets and multilingual skills
  • Someone who focuses on solutions, not obstacles
  • Naturally interested in how businesses grow and trends and issues that affect our space
  • Collaborative by nature

Your skill set & experience...

  • 4 years minimum experience in account management of small & medium sized businesses that are independently owned or equivalent experience in buying and merchandising.
  • Experienced in reporting on performance, goal setting, communicating initiatives and seeing success with those initiatives being adopted
  • Knowledgeable about e-commerce and technology that fashion brands use to sell online
  • Experienced with wholesale & confident making mutually beneficial deals
  • Experienced managing & mentoring teams is a bonus but not a prerequisite to apply

In this role, you will...

  • Drive success for independent fashion brands by building strong relationships and ensuring they get the most out of SilkFred
  • Analyse the performance of your brands to identify opportunities for growth, such as new product development, photography improvements and improvements to their existing product range
  • Be a sounding board for key business decisions our brand partners want to make
  • Stay on top of communications with brand partners and be knowledgeable about their business and how they work
  • Work enthusiastically with our brand partners to create wholesale opportunities for the business
  • Communicate SilkFred updates to brands and relevant strategies
  • Be an ambassador for SilkFred and our work with independent fashion brands, communicating updates and relevant strategies to our brand partners
  • Be responsible for surfacing issues that might be impacting our brand partners and sharing ideas with the wider team
  • Use your knowledge and understanding of business trends, changes and issues that affect our space to help our brands
  • Mentor junior team members

Customer Experience Agent Learn More Plus Plus

It’s an exciting role because...

You will be on the front line chatting with our customers, hearing about their plans, helping them to resolve queries and to choose outfits, leaving them delighted with their SilkFred experience.

You will work flexibly and remotely to suit your lifestyle.

  • Chatty & outgoing
  • Customer focussed & understand the value of excellent service.
  • Extremely proactive & a self starter

  • Able to work independently
  • Someone who focuses on solutions, not obstacles

Your skill set & experience...

  • Customer service experience, preferably customer facing & online
  • Experience working within an e-commerce business
  • Knowledge of live chat and or online messaging
  • Zendesk experience is desirable.
  • Must have excellent spelling & grammar.

In this role, you will...

  • Use zendesk to aid our customers with their order and return queries.
  • Communicate with our customers via email, social media and live chat.
  • Liaise with independent brands and logistics partners.
  • Be engaging and enthusiastic - building relationships with customers and brands.
  • Provide occasional styling advice.
  • Be reliably available to work full time, Monday to Friday.

This is a contractor role, paid at £12 per hour.
